Traditionally made from naturally shed water buffalo horns the supply of this material is not sufficient in Vietnam to satisfy the demand so the Vietnamese craftspeople who make these import Ankole cattle horns from Kenya and Uganda. A photo of the cattle whose horns they use is attached.
