A grand antique Victorian opal diamond half-hoop ring adorned with a trilogy of natural opal cabochons with six twinkling rose-cut diamonds nestled in-between. The opals weigh 0.80 and 1.4ct (approx. 3ct total) and exhibit a medley of blues, pinks and greens with a burning orange glowing within.
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet Earth or the aurora borealis.
The piece is fashioned in 18ct gold and dates to the late 19th Century. It’s in excellent condition and the gems look fabulous spread over the finger.
We recommend you insure for £1,900. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
