Light clay rings-Antique Victorian Opal Diamond Ring 2ct Natural Opals

Title Default Title
Qty:

An exquisite antique Victorian opal diamond carved half-hoop ring adorned with a trilogy of natural cabochon opals alongside four glistening old mine-cut diamonds. The opals weigh approx. 1ct in the centre, 0.50ct on each side, with 0.10ct diamonds in between.

Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the natural beauty of planet Earth or the aurora borealis.

The piece is crafted in 18ct gold with scrolled engraving carved down the sides. It dates to the late 19th Century and the opals exhibit a mesmerising display of colour with bright green, blue and orange embers burning like a fire within the stones.

We recommend you insure for £2,500. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
